Dates announced for all stages including CBT 1, CBT 2 & CBAT

The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has issued a notice announcing the tentative RRB ALP 2024 exam dates for all stages, including CBT 1, CBT 2, and CBAT. According to the notice, the RRB ALP CBT 1 exam is scheduled to take place between June and August 2024.  

According to the official schedule, the RRB ALP Computer-Based Test (CBT) 1 is slated to be conducted between June and August 2024, while the RRB ALP CBT 2 is scheduled for September 2024. 

How to Apply for RRB ALP 2024

RRB ALP 2024 Eligibility Criteria

The eligibility criteria for RRB ALP Recruitment 2024, as outlined in the previous year’s notification, are delineated below. 1. Educational Qualification: Candidates must possess the following educational qualifications:
  • Matriculation (10th class) along with ITI from institutions recognized by NCVT/SCVT in the respective trades.
  • Diploma/Degree in Engineering from a recognized university/institution.

2. Age Limit: The age criteria for RRB ALP Recruitment 2024 are as follows: 

  • The minimum age limit for candidates is 18 years. 
  • The maximum age limit varies depending on the category of the candidate and is subject to relaxation as per government norms.

RRB ALP CBT 1 Exam Pattern

The RRB ALP 2024 Computer-Based Test (CBT) 1 has a total weightage of 75 marks and will be held online. Candidates will be required to answer 75 questions in the allotted 60 minutes. Topics from Mathematics, General Science, General Intelligence & Reasoning, and General Awareness of Current Affairs are all covered in the exam syllabus.   • Marking Scheme: 1 mark for each correct answer.
  • Negative Marking: ⅓ mark for each incorrect answer.
