For the academic year 2023, CBSE changed the format of the board exams for classes 9 to 12. The board has started to shift toward competency-based education under the new National Education Policy (NEP) (CBE). More questions on the practical application of concepts will be made of the students. At the same time, the marking scheme and time allotted for the exam will not change.
On the Central Board of Secondary Education’s official website, students can view the class 12 CBSE test pattern (CBSE). The exam is divided into two phases. The first is conceptual, whereas the second is actual.
